One month after protests against police brutality devolved into riots and looting across Chicago, authorities are starting to ask for help in solving some crimes that were committed during the uprising.

Later today, Chicago police and the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives will release images of people who set fire to CPD vehicles and other property late May and early June.

And Chicago cops have now released images of a car that may be connected to a murder that took place on a River North street during the first night of rioting. CPD also released this video of the car:

Police on Monday said the blue car was used by someone who shot and killed a 26-year-old man in the 100 block of West Hubbard around 11 p.m. on May 30. Detectives described the car as an older model four-door sedan with tinted windows and faded blue paint. It was last seen heading east on Hubbard Street, then south on Clark Street, police said.

Anyone with information about the vehicle can contact Area Three detectives at 312-744–8261 about case JD-247969.
